As Data Science Association President I led a team of 5 through a 6-week civic data science project as project manager and dev, with the goal to present at the NY School of Data Unconference in March 2026.
- Engineered an index of free bus need in neighborhoods throughout NYC, combining Open Datasets on bus segment speeds, vehicle ownership, bus stop locations, and ACS census data
- Presented at 2026 NYC School of Data Unconference after live pitch to hold a session
- Co-wrote and published LessWrong article about findings, outlining neighborhoods to focus future free bus pilots on (Harlem, South Bronx, Bensonhurst)
- Managed a team of five through a 6-week project sprint
